ListenLogic SLIC: Occupy Threat Center

Threat Advisory: Occupy Movement

On October 5th, 2011, ListenLogic started tracking the Occupy Wall Street movement as it went viral through social media. Over the next few days, Occupy transformed and grew into a movement extending beyond Wall Street to over 250 U.S. cities and dozens of countries. This group continues to protest against and target banks, corporations, government institutions and the wealthy “1%” of the world’s population.

On January 16, 2012, ListenLogic Social Listening Intelligence Center (SLIC) lowered the Occupy threat advisory level for large U.S. corporations to “low”. ListenLogic will continue to monitor Occupy Wall Street and provide current clients with daily updates, however we will no longer be posting daily updates on this threat center page until OWS activity warrants.
